Team Captain for the 2012 season, Rob McCabe became Georgetowns all-time leading tackler, leading the nation with 159 tackles, 28 more than any other player in Division I FCS. McCabe Newtown Square, Pa. native was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year. he shattered his own single-season tackles record and broke the program record with 407 career tackles, placing him fifth in Patriot League history. He also led the Patriot League with 14.5 tackles for loss and was among the league leaders with 5.5 sacks.
