Americans for Prosperity was at one time the largest organization of local groups calling for reform of the US government in the nation. They represented the bulk of Tea Party supporters both at the peak of that movement and at present. While most AFP members would identify themselves as "conservatives," they consider themselves independent. That seems to mean independent of the Republican Party leadership, which they regard as having sold out the principles of conservatism and in particular, libertarianism. On Wednesday, July 17 our guest on Taking Back America was Rob Taylor, of the Coos County (OR) AFP group. We talked about what conservatism, liberalism and libertarianism is and where they might find common ground to forge the consensus necessary to Take Back America for the People. This show was rebroadcast on July 20 at 9 AM PST/ 12 PM EST on the Star Com Radio network.Take Back America for the People is an educational nonprofit whose mission is to educate the American public on true costs of corporate control of the US government.Know the truth and the truth will set us free.
