On Monday, June 17th at 3pm EST, well present director Jon Reino of the short film "Thinner Blood," which premiered at the prestigious Montclair Film Festival, and won Best Short Film at the 2013 The Set NYC Screening Series. The film also received four stars from Film Threat Magazine, and was hailed as "visually striking and emotionally effecting by FilmSnobbery Thinner Blood tells the story of Olive and her little sister Ava, who have fallen victim to child abuse while living with their abusive, alcoholic mother. Although both girls protect their mother out of fear of her violent outbursts, Olive always protects and puts her sister first. About the director: Reino began experimenting with video and photography since the age was 12, shooting skateboarding videos. Eventually he took up TV production classes in high school and went on to attend Montclair State University where he obtained BFA Degree in Filmmaking. Previous films include the well received short thriller Downward and the documentary The Tattoo Life, which won Best Documentary at the 2012 Flamingo Film Festival.
