On December 11th 1992, two MSU students who were dating at the time, Tiffany Miller and Jon Stegler were last seen leaving Jons faternity house around 1:00 am. Around 2:15 am, Jon was discovered by a motorist, lying on the side of the road. Jon had been shot once in the back of the head, but he was still alived. His bloddy injuries suggested he had been run over by a vehicle at low speed. Tiffanys body was found in the woods. She had been shot in the face twice at close range. Later that morning, one of Jons fraternity brothers discovered that his car had been broken into and that several items were stolen. Several stolen items were linked to Manning through the state witnesses, most of which were jailhouse informants. No physical evidence has ever linked Willie Manning to the crime. Since 1994, Willie Mannings defense has fought to have DNA testing done on the rape kits, fingernail scraping and hair found at the crime scene. Even the US Justice Department has said the testimony of the witnesses and the physical evidence is flawed and should be reexamined. However, Willie Manning is scheduled to be executed on 5/7/13, unless a last minute stay of execution comes. Join us tonight for a special night of The Other Side of Justice. My guest tonight will be David Skato, one of the thousands of Willie Manning supporters.
