Where Are GPO's Headed w/Corporate United's David Clevenger - Apr 09,2013

The last time I interviewed Corporate Uniteds David Clevenger was at the companys Synergy 2011 conference. During that segment we talked about the industrys checkered past and how Corporated Uniteds focus on improving understanding about the GPO model and instilling a sense of transparency and respect had made CU a leader in terms of transforming the industry reputation and results for its clients. Move ahead to 2013, and the January IBISWorld's Group Purchasing Organizations market research report, and you can see how the values championed by a Corporate United has resulted in industry-wide growth in revenue to $4 billion. Today there are currently 827 Group Purchasing Organizations in the US employing 9,550 people. So the future is indeed bright. However there are challenges on the near horizon, and this afternoon we are once again going to talk with David Clevenger about what we can expect in the year to come.
