Start School Later Task Force with Terra Ziporyn Snider

Terra Ziporyn Snider will join us at Because Hope Matters Talk Radio on March 18th at 7PM EST. Her award-winning work includes numerous popular health and medical books, including THE NEW HARVARD GUIDE TO WOMEN'S HEALTH, THE WOMEN'S CONCISE GUIDE TO EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING, ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE FOR DUMMIES, and NAMELESS DISEASES. After graduating from Yale, she was a Searle Fellow at the University of Chicago, where she earned a doctorate in the history of science and medicine while conducting research in biopsychology. A former associate editor at The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), Terra has also written extensively on a wide range of health and medical issues in both professional and popular publications, including The Harvard Health Letter, JAMA, Consumer Reports, Weight Watchers Magazine, Business Week, and Longevity. Shes also an active musician, playwright and novelist (TIME'S FOOL, THE BLISS OF SOLITUDE, DO NOT GO GENTLE). As an Executive Board Member for Start School Later, Terras medical expertise and passion for well-being led her to co-found a National Coalition of concerned parents, students, healthcare professionals, sleep scientists, educators, and citizens.
