Lugnuts and Horsepower - Mar 16,2013

It certainly has been a whirlwind week in NASCAR, as the Gen-6 car is still a learning curve. It even cost a driver $25,000, or so it seems. The Lugnuts and Horsepower crew are all over it as its been two races since the restrictor plates were on the cars. Rob Blount is the leader of this episode and both Patti Rodisch and Dustin Parks are ready to team up to tackle the biggest stories of the past two weeks. Most notable story, Denny Hamlin being critical of the new car, actually costing him $25,000, and then him following it up by not only planning to appeal, but his refusal to pay the fine and also accepting if his appeal is denied, him lose part of his race earnings or be suspended, as he feels he was expressing his opinion, and is being punished for being honest. Along with other news around the sporting world, these three will look ahead to Bristol, and make their picks to win at the bull ring. The 90-minute extravaganza kicks off at 6 p.m. ET/5 p.m. CT.
