After the fiasco called elections in California last year I committed to doing something about the state of California politics. Deborah Pauly is one of the most informed elected officials I know in regard to what is going on in CA. She joined us to fill us in on some local politics here in the O.C regarding rate increases in the Orange County Sanitation Dept. What is interesting is how this type of issue is a microcosm of state and national politics. Troy Edgar, Head of the Sanitation Board also called in to respond to Deborahs comments. We also discussed Rand Pauls filibuster and its affect on the Old Guard of the GOP.
