Join Sharifah and LyNea as they discuss what it means to be Re-Tweetable with Special Guest Accomplished Producer, Musician, Father, Entrepreneur & Re-Tweetable Man Eric Seats! Seats' artistry for music allowed him to produce songs for a number of R & B recording artists such as Destiny's Child, Shae Jones, Tank, Chante Moore, Dave Hollister, Playa, 702 and the late R & B superstar, Aaliyah. He has also completed production for various movie soundtracks, including Romeo Must Die and Exit Wounds. Because his style is so versatile, Seats was able to collaborate with Jazz recording artists Walt Johnson, and Brown Baby Girl as well. Aside from production, Seats has toured and played the drums for many artists such as Jon B, Montell Jordan, EnVogue, Deborah Cox, Kelly Price, Mase, Pattie LaBelle, Rhian Benson, Lalah Hathaway, Kenny Lattimore, Doc Powell, Raphael Saadik, DMX and Missy. His work outside of the recording studio is not overlooked. Seats has appeared in Rhian Benson's music videos “Say How I Feel” and “Stealing My Piece of Mind”. He can also be seen in the Kelly Price DVD recording of her album “This is Who I Am”. Seats is a co-member of the Grammy Nominated Production Team, “Key Beats Incorporated”. This team can be recognized for producing songs such as Aaliyah's “Rock Da Boat”, 702's “Where My Girls At?”, and Destiny's Child's “Independent Women Pt. II”. Eric Seats is busy producing Next Great Drummer International Search Competition and his new business venture "Hangn Around." His encouragement for striving musicians is “Success is equivalent to dedication; one without the other is ineffective.”
